The homemade cakes for breakfast were delightful.
I can't believe I had to deal with such thin walls. The noise from the neighboring rooms was unbearable. It felt like I was sharing my room with them rather than staying in a hotel. Plus, the absence of air conditioning made the heat intolerable, especially at night when the noise from the street disrupted my sleep.

The terrace where breakfast is served is a standout feature, providing a beautiful space with views of the garden. The homemade cakes, especially the banana shortbread, are a delightful treat that adds a personal touch to the morning routine.
Thin walls are a real issue here. you can easily hear conversations from adjacent rooms, which might not be ideal for those who enjoy their privacy. The absence of air conditioning is noticeable, particularly if you're on the road side where scooter noise can seep in at night. While not a huge deal, it's worth mentioning for light sleepers.

I recently spent 5 nights at Dal Nonno in the Single Room with Shared Shower and Toilet. Francesca, the host, was incredibly accommodating and ensured the place was always super clean, especially the bathroom. I appreciated the cozy terrace where I enjoyed breakfast every morning. It felt like a community gathering spot, which added charm to my stay. The homemade cakes for breakfast were delightful, with Francesca’s mum’s banana shortbread really standing out. The room had a nice design, and the bed was comfortable. the thin walls made it difficult at times to have privacy. I could hear conversations from the neighboring rooms. The lack of air conditioning was noticeable, especially at night when the street noise became a bit intrusive. Despite these small issues, the fabulous atmosphere and superb location made it an enjoyable experience.

i loved my stay at b&b dal nonno. the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the center of riva. breakfast on the terrace was awesome, and the homemade cakes were just delicious. also, francesca was super welcoming and friendly, which made me feel really at home. the whole place was so clean and cozy, i couldn't have asked for a better experience.
the only things that were a bit annoying were the thin walls which made it easy to hear the neighbors and the lack of air conditioning on warmer nights.
